The Zoom Horny Toad is a proven soft plastic frog built for covering water and drawing aggressive topwater strikes. Its twin Ultra-Vibe legs kick, churn, and create a steady buzz across the surface, making it an excellent choice around grass, lily pads, shallow cover, and open water. The slotted belly makes it easy to rig weedless while helping improve hook penetration when a bass commits. At 4.25 inches and 1/2 oz, the Horny Toad casts well and can also be used as a buzzbait or jig trailer for added action.

Fishing Technique: Topwater

Best Ways to Rig It:

  • Weightless on a 5/0–6/0 EWG or frog-style hook

  • Weedless over grass, pads, and shallow vegetation

  • As a buzzbait trailer

Best Conditions: Warm water, shallow vegetation, lily pads, grass mats, stained water, and low-light conditions when bass are actively feeding near the surface.
