Z-Man TRD GobyZ

The Z-Man TRD GobyZ is a compact finesse swimbait designed to imitate gobies, sculpins, darters, mud minnows, and other bottom-dwelling forage bass feed on. Its realistic 2.4-inch profile and rounded paddle tail create a subtle swimming action that comes to life even at slow retrieve speeds.

Made from Z-Man’s buoyant 10X Tough ElaZtech material, the TRD GobyZ is extremely durable while allowing the tail to rise off the bottom at rest for a natural feeding posture. It shines on a Ned rig but can also be fished on small swimbait jigheads for swimming, dragging, hopping, or slow-rolling presentations.

Fishing Technique: Ned Rig/Finesse Swimbait/Bottom Contact

Best Ways to Rig It: Pair it with a Ned-style jighead and drag or hop it along the bottom, or rig it on a small swimbait jighead and slowly swim it just above rock and structure.

Best Conditions: Excellent around rocky bottoms, points, ledges, gravel flats, riprap, and other areas where bass are feeding on small bottom-oriented baitfish. Especially effective for smallmouth, spotted bass, and pressured largemouth.
