Gamakatsu Short Shank EWG Magic Eye Treble Hook

The Gamakatsu Short Shank EWG Magic Eye Treble Hook is a premium replacement treble designed for strong hookups, excellent holding power, and easy hook changes. Its short shank and extra-wide gap create a compact profile while still providing plenty of hook gap for solid penetration.

It’s a great upgrade for crankbaits, jerkbaits, topwaters, and other hard baits, but it also works especially well with today’s popular urchin-style soft plastics. The short shank keeps the hook tight to the bait, while the EWG design provides the extra clearance needed around thicker soft-plastic bodies. The 1/0 size is a solid option for larger urchin baits when you want additional hook gap and a little more weight in the presentation.

Gamakatsu’s Magic Eye design also makes changing hooks easier by helping open the split ring as the hook is installed.
