Boogerman HD Buzzbait

The Boogerman HD Buzzbait takes the classic Boogerman design and beefs it up for big bass and heavy cover. Built with a thicker heavy-duty wire frame and larger black nickel hook, the HD Buzzbait is made to handle hard hooksets, braided line, and fish buried around grass, laydowns, and shallow cover.

Its signature keeled head and buzz blade create the unmistakable Boogerman “clack”, producing extra sound and surface disturbance that helps trigger aggressive topwater strikes. The blade wire can also be slightly adjusted for a quieter presentation when fishing pressured water. A built-in wire bait keeper makes it easy to add a soft plastic toad or other trailer and keep it locked in place.

Best Ways to Fish It:

• Burn it over submerged grass and vegetation

• Work it around laydowns, docks, and shallow cover

• Add a soft plastic toad for extra bulk and action

• Fish it on braided line when working around heavy cover
